This will be a very short post as I just wanted to share a brief moment, by way of video, I was able to enjoy recently on the refuge.
Last week, I was on the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge to see how much the refuge has changed since the prescribed burn.
I am happy to report the water is back in the units which were dry for most of the summer.
As I was on the northwest corner of the auto tour route, I came across this scene and I was able to record a few moments of a flock of red-winged blackbirds singing up a storm until a large truck came by and scared them off.
I thought it was a nice scene to share so if you like red-winged blackbirds like I do, enjoy this nice setting for a few moments like I did.
