Today, I took a drive out to Farmington Bay WMA to see how the tundra swan migration is shaping up.
Well, suffice it to say, there are thousands of early-arriving swans at Farmington Bay now, a month sooner than normal it seems for this many swans to be here.
Instead of a blog post, I put together a short video update about the tundra swans that are currently on Farmington Bay.
It didn’t turn out as well as I would have hoped due to my camera falling off the tripod and hitting the gravel shoreline as I was working on getting footage for the video, forcing me to do part of it with my phone.
But the video does show a bit more than what images I was able to take before the camera took a nose dive off the tripod so I opted for the video update instead of a blog post.
Hopefully, the camera isn’t a total loss and my blogging efforts won’t be affected.
