Eagle and Raptor Day

Each year in February the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge hosts its annual eagle day. It is a yearly event where refuge visitors can come and learn about eagles, participate in hands-on educational activities and view wild bald eagles on the refuge auto tour route.

Update 2/3/2020: From recent a recent conversation with refuge personnel, I was informed there will be a live bald eagle presentation between noon and 1:00 pm and other live hawks and raptor presentations from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Be sure to contact the refuge directly with any questions about the event and the live eagle and raptor presentations.

Also, if you are into outdoor photography, don’t forget to sign up for our free annual Beginning Outdoor Photography workshop in March on the refuge.
