Swan Day

Swan day is my most favorite event of the year held on the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge for three reasons. First, the weather is usually starting to warm up a little bit from the cold, dreary winters we usually get here in Utah. Second, the tundra swan migration is in full swing this time of year and the refuge is loaded with thousands of migrating tundra swans. Third, our annual Beginning Outdoor Photography Workshop is held in conjunction with the swan day event.

Swan day is a free event hosted by the refuge and is one of the best opportunities to view tundra swans in person. More information about activities will be made available as we get closer to the event so subscribe to our blog.
